Educational Program
For many years we have been offering free visits to regional schools to educate the children and raise awareness for the well being of animals. This educational program is made possible thanks to our partnership with Desjardins.
What does our program represent?
Beyond just talking about animals within the classroom, this program allows for the teaching to the children important values such as empathy and taking resposibilty for an animal.
Our partnership with Desjardins allowed us to develop educational materials like activity books and video clips. These tools being both educational and playful allow us to educate and raise awareness of the children to the importance of animal well being, animal bite prevention and of course, how to take care of their four-legged companion.

You are a teacher? A school board? A parent? Our program interests you? Our program is offered within primary schools in the municipalities we serve, and in Brossard.
Good values
The program instills essential values while highlighting the importance of animals in our lives, all the while insisting that these animals are not toys, and they represent a real commitment.
Raising awareness is the first step towards abandonment prevention. A well informed child becomes a responsible and careful adult. It is therefore imperative for our organization hold to this ideal.
During 2021
77 classes received our educational package and 1,566 books were distributed.
In all, 1,600 students have been made aware of animal-related causes.

Our sterilization program aims to control the cat population, while improving their health and quality of life. Help us reduce animal overpopulation by participating in this program.
Sheltering of an animal during an emergency
